Originally two independent corporations, Lowenthal Risk and Security United, LowSec has remained the dominant security outfit on Chrysalis since its merger. LowSec is not without its critics however, the pairing and privatization of the police force has lead to a system where protection comes at a price and any section unable to take on a security contract is left without a standing police force.
